Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Rosita Hamidi – General Dentist
After having received jaw surgery, Dr. Rosita Hamidi’s life was changed so much that she decided to go back to school and learn all she could to help others change their lives, as well. Dr. Hamidi truly enjoys dentistry and is compassionate about educating her patients regarding their oral health. As a mother of two young children, and a former teacher, Dr. Hamidi has a warm, gentle approach that makes even the most anxious patients feel at ease. She treats children as young as 6 months old and adults of all ages. Dr. Hamidi is licensed and trained in using “laughing gas” and oral sedation for severely anxious patients.
Dr. Hamidi graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. She completed her undergraduate studies in political science-administrative studies at University of California, Riverside. She received her Master’s in secondary education from University of Houston-Main Campus. Dr. Hamidi taught high school mathematics in Houston ISD for 7 years prior to becoming a dentist. She attributes her commitment to dentistry to her own dental discomfort since her teen years and undergoing jaw surgery while she was a teacher.
Dr. Hamidi holds herself and her staff up to a high standard of excellence so that patients are always well taken care of. She and her staff think of each patient as a family member and treat them with a respectful, caring, and friendly attitude.
Dr. Hamidi is fluent in Spanish, and also in Persian. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, going to the gym, and spending time with her husband and children.
